Castleconnell
(or Caislean Ui Chonail in Gaelic meaning O’Connell’s Castle) is a
beautiful location just 8 miles/10 kms north east of Limerick City and
on the border of counties Limerick, Clare and Tipperary. It is a
delightful village with plenty of bars and shops and restaurants to
choose from. There are beautiful riverside walks along the Shannon from
the village. The walk to the falls of Doonass should not be missed.
