Our Courtyard Suites are the ideal choice for a self catering break with the whole family. These spacious, self contained two bedroom apartments offer extra privacy and independence, perfect for a long term stay as well as a short break away. Many of our Courtyard Suites come fully equipped with a kitchen for your convenience.

Castle Oaks is renowned locally for excellent dining. From delicious afternoon tea, light lunch options and evening dinner menu in the Acorn restaurant, why not treat yourself during your stay? We also have outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine and extra space in the fresh air during your meal.

Nestled in 26 acres of mature gardens for you to explore we are a short drive from a number of popular tourist attractions such as King John’s Castle, Bunratty Castle, The Burren, Glenstal Abbey, Adare and Lough Derg. On our own doorstep, you can enjoy riverside walks along the banks of the Shannon. Locally, you’ll also find a fairy woods alongside the village playground, sure to keep the little ones entertained!

For an outdoorsy, activity filled break, we can organise kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. All equipment is provided including wetsuits and safety equipment. The picturesque town of Killaloe on the shores of Lough Derg is just 6 miles from us and offers a wide variety of water sports including boating, and water skiing.
